I finally cracked and wrote about the UK National Data Library idea TL;DR I worry that the idea risks getting lost in abstract policy debates or single, national platforms. Instead I think the National Data Library should help public sector teams deliver trustworthy data services by providing guidance, reusable platforms / technical components, and growing communities of practice. And it should start by doing some practical work to mprove the government’s existing data services... (Link in first comment as apparently that is what you need to do for LinkedIn's algorithms nowadays, silly LinkedIn)
