A company is more than the thing it sells. We recently had Sarah Hardy cofounder of Bobbie, on The False Tradeoff podcast. I heard about Bobbie a few years ago and knew it to be the “new, trendy, premier, subscription only, hard to get your hands on” baby formula. I didn’t need formula at the time but if I needed formula now, Bobbie would be on top of my list. Interestingly, the reason for my choice is less about the product itself, though I’m sure it’s excellent. It’s about the tremendous work that Bobbie is doing to advocate for mothers. Here are three things (among many more) I took from the podcast: 1) Bobbie cares about moms and they show it in their internal leave policy which includes up to a year of protected leave, if that’s what the employee needs. They also share their leave policy openly for companies to use for inspiration or a starting point. #TakeOurLeave 2) If something is missing in your leave policy that is unexpectedly exposed, you can change it as Bobbie did with their NICU policy. 3) Bobbie has helped change the conversation around feeding your baby to destigmatize the choices each mother makes to ensure their child is fed, emphasizing "There is no 'best' way to feed infants" Hear more from Sarah on The False Tradeoff ( ⬇ ).

I help individuals rediscover their identity, find balance amidst chaos, and pursue their dreams. Additionally, as a parenting coach, I support families in thriving together.
Yesterday marked the release of a particularly meaningful episode of 'Wellness in Every Season' – a podcast close to my heart and my journey. You can listen to it now at https://lnkd.in/ejTis_3J or on your preferred podcast platform. I chose this timing for the episode's release because, like many of you, I have observed the changes in our aging family members. This realization is not unique to my family; it resonates with many in our professional community. Drawing from my personal experience with my grandparents and knowing friends who juggle caregiving for elderly parents while raising young children, this episode speaks to a shared reality. Titled 'Navigating the Seasons of Caregiving: Balancing Parenthood and Elderly Care,' this episode is dedicated to those who find themselves in this complex and demanding role. It's designed to be a beacon, illuminating the various care options available, and a reminder that this journey need not be undertaken alone. The episode underscores the importance of support networks, professional advice, and community resources in the caregiving journey. It's a testament to the resilience and dedication that so many exhibit in both their personal and professional lives. As we navigate these roles, let's remember the value of sharing knowledge, extending support, and fostering understanding within our professional networks. Caregiving might be challenging, but it also brings opportunities for deep connection and growth. To everyone balancing these responsibilities, this episode is for you. #Leadership #WellnessInEverySeason #Caregiving #ElderlyCare #WorkLifeBalance #CommunitySupport #ProfessionalGrowth #podcast

On the latest episode of the Simply Retirement Podcast, Eric Blake, CFP® was joined by special guest, Danielle Bonilla from Hallmark Homecare Collin County, TX, who shared how their innovative model is shaking up the industry. Contrary to what many might think, finding dedicated caregivers has never been a challenge for them. Why? Because their model not only cuts out the middleman, saving clients money, but it also ensures caregivers are well-compensated. This not only makes the job attractive but also sustainable, allowing caregivers the flexibility to manage their schedules effectively. It’s a dynamic shift towards a more ethical and practical approach to caregiving where everyone benefits. 👉 Listen now to learn how this approach could transform the caregiving landscape → https://bit.ly/3W3DAzO #SimplyRetirementPodcast #CaregivingInnovation #SustainableCaregiving #BetterCareBetterPay #HealthcareReform #WomenAndRetirement #RetirementPodcast
