✨ Last week on the HLTH Europe main stage, we were honoured to host four trailblazing women to discuss the importance of putting women’s health at the forefront and tackling the pressing issues head-on: Dame Lesley Regan, Dr. Priya Agrawal, Dr Antonella Santuccione Chadha and Paula Bellostas Muguerza. 💫 From insufficient funding and research into female diseases to drugs and devices being designed primarily for the male anatomy, today's women face numerous disadvantages in healthcare. It’s time to confront these challenges and give women's health the focus it deserves. 💪 Our esteemed panel from Imperial College London, MSD, the Women's Brain Foundation and Kearney did just that, exploring key barriers and providing critical insights into advancing women’s health. 🩺 Together, they delved into diagnosing and treating women differently where needed, from neurological conditions to mental health and chronic diseases so women are no longer made to feel sidelined and inadequately supported. 🎥 Catch up on the inspiring session over on the HLTH Community platform: https://lnkd.in/eS8p2Vzr ⚖️ Chronically under-researched and underfunded, women's health significantly impacts half the world's population. It’s time to prioritise it and create a more equitable healthcare system. 📅 Save the date for HLTH Europe 2025, June 16-19 at RAI Amsterdam and be a part of this crucial and well-overdue advancement in women's health! #HLTHEurope #WomensHealth #HealthcareInnovation #HealthEquity #HealthTech

Really enjoyed this panel discussion. Dr. Priya Agrawal, MD (BMBCh), MPH's comment on how breast cancer screening would have been solved by now if it was men having their parts squished stood out for me. Made me laugh then reflect that women's pain has not been taken as seriously within healthcare.

'How can women's health be considered niche when we are talking about half of the population?' Thank you for a great panel!
