How can serving food in natural baskets enhance the experience of festivals? Serving food in natural baskets on festivals adds a charming and rustic touch to the celebration. Here's how you can do it: Choose Appropriate Baskets: Select baskets made from natural materials like bamboo, rattan, or banana leaves. These add an earthy feel to your presentation. Line the Baskets: Line the baskets with clean, food-safe materials like parchment paper, banana leaves, or cloth napkins. This prevents direct contact between the food and the basket, ensuring cleanliness. Arrange the Food: Arrange the festival food items neatly in the baskets. You can include a variety of dishes such as sweets, snacks, fruits, and traditional delicacies. Decorate: Add decorative elements to the baskets for a festive touch. Consider using fresh flowers, leaves, or colorful fabric to embellish the presentation. Serve with Care: When serving the food, handle the baskets with care to avoid spillage or tipping. Place the baskets on a stable surface where guests can easily access them. Keep Food Fresh: If the festival lasts for an extended period, consider covering the baskets with a clean cloth or food dome to keep the food fresh and protected from insects. Dispose Responsibly: After the festivities, dispose of any leftover food properly and clean the baskets thoroughly for future use. Serving food in natural baskets not only enhances the visual appeal of your festival spread but also promotes sustainability and eco-friendliness. Enjoy the celebration and the delicious food! #Fhrai #horeca #resturant #eventcatering #chef #resort #festival #2024

CAN you sip it, yes you CAN. The new range of Bar Buoy canned cocktails is launching imminently! We’ve been working on these new products for some time now and have had a gazillion conversations about the names, the size, the look, and most importantly the taste. We thought it might be helpful to explain our thinking before we revel all. Cans are kinda of a big deal these days. Not only have consumer perceptions changed in terms of cans being acceptable for premium products, but the growing demand for convenience and portability is also still very much on the up. Add in the environmental benefits such as aluminium cans being lightweight and recyclable, not to mention more resistant to breakages, and suddenly there’s a list with some very compelling reasons to get canning. But the first question we had to ask ourselves was “is canning right for Bar Buoy and our existing products?” The answer was both yes and no! In terms of the brand, for consumers, absolutely. We’re all about boating, beaching, alfresco sunsets and encouraging our customers to sip our cocktails in outdoor locations. Cans makes soooo much sense for this. But at the same time we have a huge on-trade and at-home customer base who serve our cocktails in their amazing hospitality venues or pour our cocktails with ease on a Friday night at home. They choose our cocktails because they are the real deal. If we put these products in a can and they were consumed directly from the packaging without ice, they might just be a little too punchy. This meant that quite early on we agreed that for cans, we’d need to create new versions that have a slightly lower ABV and in essence are designed to be sipped straight from the can itself. The four cocktails we’ve created are still very much classics but they all have a twist and the results are “absolutely bangin’” as Toby our Production Supervisor says. What we’ve ended up with now is two distinct collections. Our Ready-To-Serve bottled cocktails which we encourage you to shake, pour into a glass over ice and garnish with fruit.. and our Ready-To-Drink canned cocktails which we suggest you chill and sip at sunset on the beach.

Pre and post-pandemic, hospitality venues have always created unique recipes, literally and figuratively, to keep customers coming — and going. The more guests in and out the door in a day almost always means more revenue. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝟑 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬: 1. Uncomfortable furniture Clunky, uncomfortable seating can deter diners from overstaying their implied welcome. Think stiff, backless chairs with small seats and chairs closely packed around the table, offering little to no elbow room. A lot of unnecessary distance between your booth seat and the table can also become unpleasant. 2. Fast and loud music Blaring, energetic music has proven to increase drink sales by creating an fun, party atmosphere, especially during Happy Hour. When your vocal cords and eardrums can't compete with the sounds around, it’s easier to drink than hold down an in-depth conversation. 3. Odd-numbered appetizers Everything comes in 3s: 3 tacos. 3 sliders. 3 bao buns, etc. This can be perfect if your appetizer is your main. However, if you want to share evenly, we all know that a fourth comes at an extra cost. What is a selling practice that stood out to you at a restaurant? 3 Emerging Trends That Will Reshape the Bar & Tavern Scene in 2025 The bar and tavern industry is a dynamic space, constantly evolving to meet the shifting demands and desires of its patrons. As we look ahead to 2025, several key trends are set to redefine the landscape, challenging traditional business models and providing opportunities for innovation and growth. 1. The Rise of the "Mindful Drinker" Health and wellness have become increasingly important to consumers, and this trend is impacting even the world of cocktails. The "sober curious" movement and the growing popularity of low- and no-alcohol options are transforming the way people socialize and unwind. * Implications for Bars & Taverns: * Embrace the Mocktail: Craft creative and sophisticated mocktails that rival their alcoholic counterparts in complexity and flavor. * Expand Your Beverage Selection: Offer a variety of low-alcohol beers, wines, and spirits, as well as non-alcoholic alternatives like craft sodas and kombuchas. * Educate Your Staff: Ensure your team is knowledgeable about these new offerings and can confidently recommend them to guests. 2. Experiences Over Everything Today's consumers crave more than just a good drink; they're seeking unique experiences that create lasting memories and foster social connections. * Implications for Bars & Taverns: * Think Beyond the Drink: Host themed nights, live music events, trivia competitions, or interactive mixology classes to draw in crowds and foster community. * Invest in Ambiance: Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that invites guests to linger and socialize. * Personalize the Experience: Offer tailored recommendations and create opportunities for guests to customize their experience. 3. Sustainability Takes Center Stage As concerns about the environment grow, consumers are demanding businesses prioritize sustainable practices. Bars and taverns are no exception. * Implications for Bars & Taverns: * Source Locally: Partner with local farmers and suppliers to reduce your carbon footprint and support the local economy. * Reduce Waste: Implement recycling programs, minimize single-use plastics, and explore creative ways to repurpose food waste. * Communicate Your Efforts: Be transparent about your sustainability initiatives and share your progress with your customers. Navigating the Future These trends present both challenges and exciting possibilities for the bar and tavern industry. Most restaurants are dimly lit for several reasons. First, softer lighting creates a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere, encouraging guests to linger and enjoy their meals. It can enhance the dining experience by highlighting the food and creating a cozy environment. Additionally, dim lighting can help mask any imperfections in the decor and contribute to a more upscale feel, which can be appealing for both casual and fine dining establishments. Let’s find out what Vir Sanghvi has to say about this by reading this article below!
