When wrapping up Men's Mental Health Awareness Month in June, I had some thoughts on why men don't seek help nearly as much as our female counterparts. We need to remove the stigma behind seeking help (yes, even asking for directions) when it comes to mental health. It starts with education & access. Having an EAP partner who helps with the heavy lifting is what you deserve. That is what Covenant Workplace Solutions brings to the table. Your EAP should raise the bar, not simply check the box.

Helping HR access the best workplace mental health training, which enables each employee to communicate with empathy, understanding, and self-awareness | Mental Health First Aid delivered differently.
🌍 World Mental Health Day is this Thursday 🌍 But let’s be honest—mental health is something we need to talk about every day. And this Thursday, October 10th, is no different for me. I’m excited to be hosting a short, informal café-style session for Visionary UK members in the afternoon, where we’ll be exploring a topic that’s deeply important: • Understanding Mental Health in the Blind and Partially Sighted Community. This won’t be a session about what I know—because honestly, I have so much to learn in this space. Instead, it will be about listening. In true facilitation style, I’m simply holding space for the members to share what mental health means within this community. It’s a time for conversation, connection, and a meaningful cuppa. Creating spaces where people can voice their experiences and challenges is what helps us build a more compassionate and understanding world. This session is a step towards that goal. If you're a Visionary_UK member, I’d love for you to join us. Let’s come together for an open, authentic chat that aims to create deeper awareness around mental health and what this means to you. https://lnkd.in/evRmbH5b

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Check on a Friend this Men's Mental Health Awareness Month As we observe Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, let's take a moment to reflect on the importance of mental well-being and the power of connection. Men often face unique challenges and societal pressures that can make it difficult to speak openly about their struggles. This month, let's break the silence. Check on a friend today. A simple call, text, or visit can make a world of difference. Ask how they're doing, listen without judgment, and let them know you care. Your support could be the light they need in a difficult time. Together, we can foster a culture of openness and support. Let's stand by our friends and family, ensuring no one has to face their battles alone.
