Big celebrations this week! The 2-Hour Workshop Blueprint has 100 reviews on Amazon.com. (100 reviews with an average rating of 4.8). Just a HUGE thank you for supporting the book! You don't know how a book will go when you release it into the world. It's less than a year old, and nothing thrills me more than opening my LinkedIn messages every morning, and seeing messages from YOU, the reader, who has somehow discovered the book, read it in one sitting, and started to bring in some of the strategies into your workshops. Some behind-the-scenes stats in case you're curious: ➡️ On Amazon alone, the book (paperback + Kindle) has sold 3582 copies (sales are also made on other platforms but Amazon is the main driver for sales right now), generating revenue of $38K ➡️ Total bulk orders from clients, who have brought me in to deliver 2-Hour Workshops for their teams: 350 ➡️ Audio copies sold? In case you missed this red flag, here’s another shout out. 3. Just record yourself. Ramble away. Narrative is overrated. 4. Transcribe it: No need for editing. Raw and unfiltered shows your commitment and passion. 5. Make a Canva Cover: Get as creative and relatable as that “rap” song they did. (Spend five minutes tops.) 6. Find a category on Amazon. The one that seems easiest to game. Think obscure niches. 7. Upload your masterpiece to Kindle. Set an absurdly high price that “no one will buy.” 8. Promote to everyone! EVERYONE. Friends, nemeses, strangers at the gas station. Tell them that for a limited time, they’ll get an exclusive offer of just $1.99 for secrets on lifetime success. 9. Manipulate prices. Drop the price for an hour and wait for 100 people to buy. 10. Don’t worry. 100 people will totally fall for 1.99 within the hour but JUST IN CASE THEY DON’T, just give it an extra hour and you’ll totally one hundred percent be fine. Guaranteed. 10.1: Just repeat the above until that happens it will totally happen. 11. Bump that price back up: Make it look premium again for all the suckers who didn’t get your special discount memo. 12. Screenshot the #1 best seller spot. Capture the fleeting moment of glory and share it everywhere. Go back to the gas station and say “hey we really went premium on this eh, EH?” while winking profusely. 13. HEY YOU DID IT! Now go back to the speaking bureau who told you about this magic and pay them just 799.97 to be featured as a top tier speaker. * …. This is barely a satire, from an actual so-called “speaking bureau” who tried to recruit me. Watch out folks. Edit: Congrats on being a totally legit best-seller!

$2. Yup, that's all it costs to join in our experiment. It's about CMO and community-led marketing insights. Here's the deal: I was chatting with Rebecca Marshburn, Head of Community at Common Room. She ran across my book and thought it would be cool to host a discussion of it in their Uncommon community workspace on Slack. I agreed. Then off we went to build a plan. We first decided to drop the price of my book, Unfair Mindshare: A CMO's guide to community-led marketing in a product-led world. We cut the price of the Kindle version on Amazon from $9.95 to $1.99 (just say$2). This would make it accessible to anyone, and it's the lowest price you can make a Kindle book. Next, Rebecca asked if I had a chapter reflection guide for readers. I didn't. So, I created one for all 15 chapters. We're offering the reflection guide for free. It’s in the Uncommon workspace.
