As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, it's important to also shine a light on the unique health needs and challenges facing Hispanic and Latino Americans: 🩺 33% of Hispanic and Latino adults suffer from hypertension, a major risk factor for heart attacks and strokes.  🗣 Patients whose primary spoken language is Spanish receive 33% fewer healthcare services than English speakers.  🏥 60% of Hispanic and Latino adults report experiencing communication and cultural barriers with healthcare providers.
