On Overdose Awareness Day, we think of those we have lost to overdose and other drug-related incidents. We value your lives. Today, we think of ways we can unite with community to change systems in preventing and reducing harms. We follow the lead of the @mbharmreductionnetwork and “Believe that harm reduction, equitable access, and safer service delivery are important parts of supporting communities”. We will be at the Harm Reduction Fair and Rally at the Manitoba Legislative grounds at 10:30am to network for change, connect with community, and gather and share knowledge on how to create safe(r), destigmatized spaces. At Heartwood, we value harm reduction and welcome those who use substances. Visit our website to read our full Harm Reduction Statement (link in bio). #overdoseawarenessday #overdoseawareness #harmreduction

Thank you so much to the Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) Program at Maples Collegiate for selecting Heartwood as your donation recipient. YiP is a Winnipeg Foundation initiative. With this money, we were able to purchase furniture and other items to make our cultural room vision come to life. Now, Indigenous participants and staff have access to a much warmer and significant cultural space. @wpgfdn @maples_collegiate
