Another incredibly fruitful day at Web Summit, alhamdoulillah! I am advertising early stage #startups that are already generating traction and that I consider extremely promising. I have met the ultra-energetic and kind Joelle Boukrit, founder of the UAE based 2MO - Second Medical Opinion. This innovative solution operates in the #medtech and #telemedicine industry. Worldwide, is estimated that in 15% of cases patients receive a wrong diagnosis about their pathologies. On top of that, 40 % of all the patients receive inadequate cure plans So, 2MO is solving the problem in this way: 👉 As user, you have access to a pool of different diagnosis from different doctors (it means that if you live in New Zealand, you can get the diagnosis from a doctor in Italy) 👉 As doctor, you get paid for any diagnosis issued. The solution leverages #ai and is also backed a by a pool of internationally renamed doctors from all around the world. 2MO is already generating revenue and planning to expand in other GCC countries (Qatar is an option).
