Whilst this playbook provides a good baseline for achieving sustainable built environment, it still revolves heavily around the environmental aspect (not in any way denying the incredible roles it plays toward sustainable development).
When it comes to socioeconomic aspect of the built environment, the aspiration is to somehow find a balance between good support of financial, governance (authority/ developer), and meeting the needs of the people of the context.
Architect, planner, designers and engineers may have many great ideas and innovations for green building solutions, yet when it comes to $$$ and the stakeholder, I would say that is usually the greater challenge to overcome.
