On Monday, #HurricaneBeryl made landfall on the Texas Gulf Coast as a Category 1 hurricane, bringing maximum sustained winds of 80mph and leaving millions without power. Leaders from HCA Healthcare’s Enterprise Emergency Operations Center (EEOC) diligently prepared ahead of the storm to help ensure that our South Texas and Houston hospitals and care sites had the resources, including medications, food, water and generator power, to continue caring for patients and colleagues. We are incredibly proud of how our Gulf Coast Division and HCA Houston Healthcare colleagues responded before, during and after the storm. Their resilience and compassion, even when faced with devastation as great as this, is a testament to their unwavering commitment to the care and improvement of human life. At HCA Healthcare, it is our priority to take care of our patients, as well as each other. The HCA Healthcare Hope Fund is a colleague-run, colleague-supported 501(c)(3) that provides emergency funds to our colleagues when significant hardships arise due to illness, injury, natural disasters or other difficult situations that impact their essential needs. ➡️HCA Healthcare colleagues impacted by Hurricane Beryl can visit the Hope Fund’s website to learn more and apply to request assistance. Please also consider supporting impacted colleagues by making a donation to the Hope Fund: www.HCAHopeFund.com. #HCACares #OurHopeFund
