Do you have a hard time voicing your thoughts at work even when you want to? You’re not alone. The important thing to remember is that your lack of confidence is not an inherent flaw, and these limitations don’t have to define you. Take the time to understand who you are, where your motivations lie, and what makes you unique. Remember that your uniqueness is valuable. You have something important to share, no matter how obvious or uninspiring it may seem to you. Step 2: Focus on building confident behaviors. Know that any mindset shift is going to take time. So, start small and be deliberate about each effort. Don’t expect change to happen overnight. But, keep at it and build your confidence muscle.

Very good article! My take away is the practice, and consistently engaging in behavior essentially to build and re-enforce attributes that will lead to additional positive outcomes. We all have heard the term “practice makes perfect”.

Do these 3 simple things: Many times when we think about creating confidence, it’s all about the external Don’t get me wrong, strong eye contact, upright body posture, and walking with confidence is absolutely key for building self-esteem However, none of this matters if it’s all a façade because you feel empty on the inside, it will only be temporary If we do not feel as though we are truly confident beings from within, and not focusing inword, We will still be left with a feeling of great emptiness and insecurity In order to build real confidence from within, we truly need to understand our value as human beings and what we bring to this world Because we certainly all have a tremendous amount of value, and something to offer! Start asking yourself questions like this: - What do I love most about myself? - What do other people love or appreciate about me? - What are the things that you are doing in life that are lighting up your soul and fueling your purpose?
