Yet another insightful and informative article. Leadership is subjected to context. That’s right. While the adage consistency is key is pretty much valid, under the emerging approach, adaptability is equally vital. Leadership today is fluid and complex. There’s no one-size-fits-all!! While the leader or founder might be the “power holder” as he or she sits at the apex of the enterprise’s structure, they are also the “power sharer”. The latter transcends through delegation, autonomy and empowerment. These are imperative for retaining and managing talented and high-performers. What’s seemingly complex is blending intuition and analysis. Both pretty much are the two sides of the same coin. How can and should the two sides collide and collaborate? It is here that I shall begin to ponder.
