A couple of months ago I made a post about how we were up for winning the Largest Loss Claims Award in the UK... And I can now say that we HAVE actually won it. It's a weird thing to celebrate, but to me, this award demonstrates the power of perseverance and resilience. Back in May 2021, our warehouse burnt down to a crisp. All of a sudden, we had an £18,000,000 pound claim, our business operations ground to a screeching halt, and our employees were out of a job. Then, we had to be up and running in 5 months with £4,000,000 cash after fighting in court to claim the balance of the money from a third party. But now, in 2024, I'm proud to say that M1Y is stronger than ever. We've literally risen from the ashes. 💪 I want to give a big shoutout to Gus Teruel at Aviva, Jonathan Samuelson and Alex Balcombe at Harris Balcombe for all of their help and support in getting us through it. Because of the fire, I've become very passionate about the importance of having solid insurance. It's rare for a customer to so vocally voice their praise for a major loss response, and it's clear how hard you and your staff must have worked to turn around a dire situation.
