Reflecting on a remarkable evening at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad in 2015, I had the honor of hosting the Ministry of Community Development's 1st Biennial Community Development Partnership Forum & Community Heroes Awards with the esteemed Adrian Don Mora. This unforgettable evening was not just about celebrating the heroes in our communities but also a testament to the power of effective collaboration and communication in corporate hosting. Here are three key hosting tips when working with a co-host: 👉 Leverage Individual Talents: Recognize and utilize each host's unique skills and talents. Whether it's humor, storytelling, or subject matter expertise, playing to each host's strengths can create a more dynamic and engaging experience for the audience. 👉 Engage the Audience: Interact with the audience directly. Leave No Trace Ireland has twelve Core Members - organisations who are dedicating themselves to the care of our outdoors! Through the Leave No Trace Core Member Network, we connect together and focus on how we can collectively care for our outdoor spaces. We discuss what are the common issues each organisation is facing, what collaborative approaches we can take together, and how we can promote a Leave No Trace ethos into all the different areas that we each specialise in! Currently, we are in the midst of having our start-of-year meetings will all our different core members to assess what directions and issues we’re looking at tackling this year, and we’re really excited about the conversations we’re having!
