Today, we're witnessing an explosion of voices capable of representing their art in innovative and fresh ways. However, standing out is a challenging feat. This is where independent magazines create real meeting places where ideas are celebrated, and shared visions find space among the pages. Unbeknownst to readers, an emotional bond forms with a particular volume, which resides in our homes, immortal. Reading a magazine is much more than a simple act; it's an emotional experience that aims to involve us in the construction of a "community" born from a new voice capable of interacting with listeners through a vision not yet conceived by all, to give space to those who understand its values and make them their own, intriguing those who are distant. The blatant prejudiced motivations of the Business Insider staff have been outed by the timing and nature of their attack on Neri Oxman this week. The last thing in the world that Axel Springer, the online rag's corporate owner, wants is to be sued by the extremely deep pocketed Bill Ackman (who is supported by the even deeper-pocketed Elon Musk). "Over the past few days questions have been raised about the motivation and the process leading up to the reporting — questions that we take very seriously. We are going to take a couple of days to review the processes around these stories to ensure that our standards as well as our journalistic values have been upheld. We will be transparent with our conclusions.” Keep in mind that "Axel Springer’s main corporate principles include support for Israel. The company requires its German employees to sign a written commitment to those principles. While U.S. employees aren’t required to sign the pledge, [CEO Mathias] Döpfner told The Wall Street Journal after Axel Springer acquired POLITICO that he expected its staffers to adhere to the principles, which also include support for a united Europe and a free-market economy." “These values are like a constitution, they apply to every employee of our company,” Döpfner said. "What drew particular concern from top executives at Axel Springer was Ackman’s speculation about BI’s motives, a person familiar with the situation said. “Note that they chose to send the email after sundown on Friday night to a family that celebrates Shabbat dinner together. And also note that they are attacking the Israeli wife of the protagonist in this situation,” Ackman wrote on X.
