"Nothing is granted. Everything is earned. We dare you to qualify." Today's announcement of the Esports World Cup Foundation's Club Support Program marks a milestone after months of carefully crafting an esports-wide initiative to provide a baseline for joint growth, investment and development, awarding a sizeable six-figure funding to each Club . Living up to the global ambition that is by definition embedded in a World Cup, we are integrating 30 esports brands from five major esports regions - we will connect East and West like no place before, and what better place than Riyadh to host this unique connection. When running the application process for the program, we were suprised and humbled by the overwhelming interest from the esports ecosystem. More than 175 organizations reached out, and ultimately, we decided to expand from 28 to 30 member organizations for 2024 - well aware of the incredible amount talent, creativity and performance we still weren't able to integrate this year. But rest assured, 2024 is only the beginning and we will work hard on developing the Club Support Program even further. Last but not least: Each Club has to make their Road to Riyadh by themselves. Regardless of your participation in the Support Program, success is not guaranteed nor easily granted. It will be heavily battled. You need to earn your right to be there. You need to perform. You need to win! And for that: we dare you to qualify. GLHF, everyone: Alban Dechelotte Yevhen Zolotarov Arthur Perticoz Jaime Pádua F.
