#TheHeroes Noreen Nasralla - Founder and CEO at purpose/& Noreen is a senior Executive with 22+ years of experience in Brand, Marketing, Story telling, PR & Communication, Customer Experience and Commercial operations. Noreen has proven track record of accomplishment in heading up brand and communication teams; accountable for drivingthe leading metrics that result in incremental returns as well as enhancing brand positioning through measurable brand tracking. During her experience at Etisalat, Noreen led the brand and communication function to reposition the group into e& locally and globally through an effective combination of creative and distinctive perspectives throughout the Group’s operating markets and relevant stakeholders. Noreen is among a handful of women to take a seat at the executive table in various leadership roles. Nasralla has been instrumental in supporting the evolution and roll-out of e&’s new brand hierarchy, reflecting the Group’s strategic transformation from a telco to a global technology and investment conglomerate. As a result, Etisalat, evolved as e&, was named the Emirati Most Valuable Brand of the Year 2022, holding the number oneranking across all categories in the UAE by Kantar BrandZ, a global data and evidence-based agency. e& was also the fourth in the region in the overall Emirati and Saudi top 30 ranking. In line with e&'s vision to deliver on its Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, Nasralla was an active member of e&'s sustainability committee that focuses on providing an enhanced customer experience, maximising value creation for shareholders and looking after the communities served by e&. Always looking to further her knowledge of sustainability trends, Nasralla obtained the status of 'GRI Certified Sustainability Professional'. Noreen is also certified with distinction in ESG/Sustainability matters from the Glasgow Caledonian University and consults on disclosures, framework alignment with global standards and repositioning brand communication accordingly. Prior to joining e&, Nasralla served as the Media Advisor at the Department of Municipalities and Transport. Shehas been instrumental in aligning and contributing to the leadership’s vision at JAFZA, Nakheel, Dubai Holding, Dubai Properties Group and Al Futtaim Group, and Modon; where she took up various senior management positions, to drive the communication strategy in line with their respective overall long-term development and strategic plans. At JAFZA, Nasralla’s strategic approach and collaborative efforts, as part of the Marketing and Business Development team, contributed to the establishment of Dubai International Humanitarian City. Nasralla comes with an extensive marketing, communication, and brand experience encompassing brand management and strategic planning – both traditional and digital.
