Another round of training with the Hamilton T1 with my "PEEPS" in the Middle East. This time we focused on the in-depth monitored values that the T1 makes available. So much information is at your fingertips that it can be overwhelming at first. The key is understanding what each value represents and what might be considered a normal value. A large part of this data plays a huge part into driving a strategic plan to safely and effectively oxygenate and ventilate the patient. It is awesome when you see someone experience a "light bulb" moment while working with the Hamilton T1 and the Michigan Instrument test lungs we use at our training center. We also took a deeper dive into ASV Adaptive Support Ventilation. The practitioners were amazed at how this mode makes adjustments on the fly to support the patient while implementing safety (lung protective strategies) and comfort (synchrony). The T1 clearly makes my job easier and everyone in the class is amazed at its capabilities.

Michael Schauf This class was the best ventilation workshop i have ever attended, the insight and knowledge you possess and have to share is incredible. It was a pleasure attending your session! ASV was used in the field shortly after this workshop and it was great!!!
