In this final episode of the Nature-Based Solutions takeover, we explore how regenerative agriculture can bring our soil back to life, improve water absorbency and improve biodiversity, while still feeding the world.

How can investors help restore nature? 🤔   This was a central topic at Tuesday’s Brazilian Climate Forum. Our Co-Chief Investment Officer Eduardo Mufarej spoke on a panel with Ilona Szabó de Carvalho, Co-Founder and President of the Igarapé Institute.   We think the case for investing in nature is clear. Agriculture, forestry and other land use account for 23% of global greenhouse gas emissions today, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. We must prioritize building capacity to map, monitor, and manage environmental risks in Ukraine's war-affected agricultural lands. This involves creating a network of science and business to utilize modern technologies like geospatial data and UAV surveys, along with soil sample analyses. Our goal is to safeguard sustainable farming and food security. However, in developing land restoration plans, we must adopt a long-term perspective, considering time demands and global challenges. We propose offering Ukrainian farmers an action plan or to-do list, starting with recommendations for land decontamination and remediation, and progressing to a sustainable farming strategy aligned with the requirements of the organic world market, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Green Deal, and the Paris Agreement. Our social-economic initiative by way of Agriculture to lift the people and create a carbon offset market to help environment, Participants in 17 countries have pledged over 627,412 hectares for Agriculture Development, and 3,323,192 hectares of Forest and Nature Reserves, as we continue to expand
