Axonometric projections = type of parallel projection These are used in technical and architectural drawings to represent objects in three dimensions without foreshortening. They include isometric, dimetric, and trimetric projections, each offering a different perspective. They're great for accurately depicting objects and spaces. There are three main types of axonometric projections: Isometric Projection: All three axes are equally foreshortened, resulting in a 120-degree angle between them. Dimetric Projection: Two of the three axes are foreshortened at different angles, typically resulting in a 45_degree angle between two of the axes and a 90-degree angle between the third axis and the other two. Trimetric Projection: All three axes are foreshortened at different angles, resulting in varying angles between the axes.
