UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction

I have enjoyed a productive visit to the Republic of Korea, where I met with Mr. Yi Han-Kyung, Vice Minister of Interior and Safety, with Mr. Yoo Jeong-bok, Mayor of Incheon City, and with Ms. Mafalda Duarte, Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund, amongst others. It is encouraging to see such dedication and support for disaster risk reduction efforts, and UNDRR looks forward to building on our fruitful collaboration with all these important stakeholders. The Republic of Korea is a leader in DRR and resilience building, and a strong supporter of global DRR initiatives. The Green Climate Fund does vital work in supporting developing countries meet their NDC ambitions towards low-emissions and climate-resilient pathways - and there are numerous opportunities for UNDRR and the GCF to work together towards a more resilient future.

AMAZON , Don’t destroy AMAZON Our forests are disappearing at an alarming rate. Over the past few decades, we've witnessed the devastating impact of deforestation, with millions of acres of lush, vibrant ecosystems being cleared for various purposes. This alarming trend not only destroys the natural habitats of countless species but also contributes to climate change, soil erosion, and the disruption of vital water cycles. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth . Let’s young leaders control future of our planet. NATO and Organization are responsible to bring peace not to manufacturing war guns and tools . We are all in one ship . Please don’t make hole our ship .

Its now high time for the Developed Economies, rather than Developing ones, to aggressively follow mitigation as Net-zero emission policy themselves. Even UN bodies are found calling developing economies to cut emission of CO2 and methane etc. but those economies need Green Industrialisation for economic resilience while Developed economies taking advantage of Carbon Trading to continue their economic superiority which again derailing Net-zero emission targets.

DECARBONIZING AFRICA’S CITIES The  Centre for Sustainable Africa Agenda (CSAA) is very keen in pursuing Collaborations/Partnerships with the GREEN CLIMATE FUND for the following project: YOUTH CYCLE FOR CLIMATEACTION IN AFRICA'S CITIES: WHY? The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates: 1. Each year, in Africa over one million people die prematurely from CO2 and other transportation emissions 2. Each year Africa spends over €200 billion on transportation emission diseases like cardiovascular/ lung complications  OTHER REASONS 3. These emissions contribute seriously to Climate Change and significantly affect agricultural production in Africa. 4. Over 65% of Africa’s population will live in her urban centers/cities by 2060 signifying more deaths if nothing is done about this situation 5. Employment for the Youth especially young women 6. Decarbonization and Sustainability of cities in Africa MAJOR PROJECT OBJECTIVE To create a Culture of Cycling in Africa to ensure 40% decarbonization of Africa's urban centers/cities with cycling by 2030 JOIN US...SUPPORT THIS ECO-SUSTAINABLE PROJECT!
