Sounds fun…
Our Houston Area volunteers teamed up with two of our Weatherford Walks charitable partners, Small Steps Nurturing Center and PTSD Foundation Of America, and dedicated their efforts to giving back to the local community! The One Weatherford Team had a fantastic experience as they rolled up their sleeves, cleaning up classrooms at Small Steps and assisting with garden maintenance at Camp Hope. A big thank you to our volunteers who participated in these events, and to our charitable partners for hosting us. We are looking forward to Weatherford Walks 2024! #OneWeatherford #WeatherfordWalks #Community #Volunteer #GivingBack

This Black History Month, as we celebrate the resilience and strength of the Philadelphia community, let us remember the words of Maya Angelou: “We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value.” At HOW Charities, we're dedicated to turning dreams into reality by empowering individuals on their journey to homeownership. #HOWCharities #HOWGroup #charity #americandream #homeownership #financialliteracy #philadelphiacommunity #buildinghomesbuildingfutures #HOWCharitiesCommunity #givingback #communitysupport #volunteer #teamwork #nonprofit #makingadifference #PositiveChange #CommunityEmpowerment #GivingBack #SupportingHOWCharities #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackHistoryMonth2024

Crisis, such as the tragic fires in and around Ruidoso, reveal the character of people and businesses. Such as the extreme leadership of MATI’s Godfrey Enjady working tirelessly with friends, such as PVT’s James Meyers, to restore vital communications within and outside of their own service areas. Or the local businesses working together to meet the needs of those impacted. Local businesses matter and will be there when needed. I so appreciate the efforts of PVT’s employees organizing this effort to bring supplies to those in need. Chris & Tabitha Davis , Cassie Florez , Daniel Rodriguez, SHRM-CP and Ross Horner.
PVT would like to thank people in our communities for dropping off donations, and special thanks to Oasis Christian Fellowship in Carlsbad. Last night, PVT employees delivered the first truckload to the Mescalero Community Center. Two more truckloads to follow.

Local toy drives have a special place in our hearts because they directly impact the lives of children in our very own community. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a world of difference to a child who may otherwise go without a gift during the holidays. By donating to local drives, you're not only spreading joy but also fostering a sense of togetherness and compassion. Where can you donate? Big Brothers and Big Sisters of RI: This local organization collects clothing and soft fabrics for children in need and distributes them to families within the community. You can donate to their bins at the VFW as well as the Cup Defenders on Wood St. Bristol Police Department: They often host a holiday toy drive, and donations can be dropped off at their headquarters. Local Churches: Many churches in Bristol actively participate in toy drives during the holiday season. Check with your local parish to see if they have a collection. Schools and Community Centers: Keep an eye out for toy collection bins at your local schools or community centers. If we can become aware of others and what the community is hosting this holiday season, one purchase, one drive, one thought can directly impact someone else this holiday season for the better. This is your Daily Dose of the day! #MondayMotivation #Donations #HolidaySeason #BristolRI #RhodeIsland #DailyDoseofBristolRI

Today, is #NationalNonprofitDay, I want to recognize the nonprofits that are doing important work in their communities. I particularly want to turn your attention to Live To Give MN. This Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to educate, bring awareness, provide resources, and be a positive force in the health and well-being of children, families, the poor and the infirmed, and the environment in Minnesota by providing funding, programming and other events and activities to further research and programs targeted at these communities. https://lnkd.in/g2dKJg3y

Worthing is so fortunate to have Worthing Community Chest to give grants local non-profit community groups, which make a difference to so many lives in the town. Did you know that you can easily help raise funds for Worthing Community Trust by donating your old clothes via their textile recycling bins? Perfect if you're having a summer clear out!👚 👕 ♻ The green/turquoise bins (there's some debate about the colour!) are dotted all over Worthing. Find your closest one on the handy map below: 📍 https://lnkd.in/ezeW8grn In the bin, you can put: - All clothing and other textiles such as bed linen, cushion covers, blankets and tea towels - Shoes and other footwear including socks, boots and trainers -Unfortunately they can’t take pillows, duvets, sleeping bags, tents or mattresses https://lnkd.in/efJ-uD3x I'll take a photo when I visit a recycling bin and I'll do a poll on the colour 😁 #TextileRecycling #Worthing #CharityGrants
Last night, Nicola and Laura were honoured to attend Worthing Community Chest's AGM and hear about the exciting future plans for support they will give to local grassroots charities. Worthing Community Chest has generously funded a portion of this year's Between the Blue Film Festival, and we're incredibly grateful for their contribution. The festival simply wouldn't be possible without their support. A big thank you to Susan and the entire Worthing Community Chest team for your tireless efforts to enrich the lives of people in the community. Your work is truly making a difference. #Worthing #CharityFunding #Community
