Electricians! You get a call to replace this 1970s breaker. After eyeballing it, what do you do? 1. Say to the owner, with a sigh, “this is gonna be a big job.” 2. Recommend another electrician whom you don’t like. 3. Wait for it to self-ignite. It will be easier to replace after a big fire.

First, find the power source to that panel or entire building, shut off all sources of power, and announce the installation of lockout / tagout. Verify a zero energy state and start demo. Install the new equipment, conduit, pull wire, etc., and complete installation. Announce removal of lockout / tagout, energize, and test new equipment while protected with the proper PPE according to preplanning and arc flash calculations. The pictured work can be performed safely, however my recommendations are a simplified overview.

Our HVAC service techs do an amazing job with low-voltage solutions for the equipment they install and service throughout Kansas, but as Kruse’s expertise expands to larger equipment and more complex electrical projects, a proper electrician is needed. Thankfully, we have two in Joe Guerro and Jeremy Loch for these growing electrical needs. This week, we sat down to talk with Joe about his experience at Kruse, and the expertise that brought him and Jeremy to Kruse. Joe’s first choice wasn’t working in electricity, initially following in his stepfather’s footsteps by becoming a police officer. While the harder aspects of the job proved a poor match, Joe spent his free time working on drag racers, and thought joining the union as an electrician would be a better fit. 25 years later, Joe and Jeremy have both honed their skills as master electricians at larger companies. Once the news got around that Kruse was looking for electricians, Jeremy and Joe knew they were ready to build something, and Kruse was the right place for this dream to come true. Having worked at Kruse for two years now, Jeremy and Joe’s bread-and-butter work is equipment replacement. Currently they’re working through our Towne East project, running wire for air handlers servicing all common areas. In all spaces where we are expanding our capabilities, the first question asked is who starts the process. While Kruse has had excellent electricians in our time, we look forward to seeing what these electricians with a heart for building Kruse up can do. #electrician #electricial #growth #growthmindset

Good evening As the saying goes, 'every chicken has its day,' similarly, every company with an maintenance (Passive) responsible for ensuring uninterrupted power supply, be it at a single site or multiple sites, now understands whether the situation is under control or requires attention." I have dedicated 9 years to working in the telecommunications industry as a field maintenance electrician (PASSIVE) and remain actively involved. I've noticing significant changes that have occurred on the active side that is ground breaking yet there has been minimal evolution on passive side apart from changing rectifier and battery brands.. I would say am eager for management to revisit the passive methods of early 2000 to identify any potential misalignments. because that was passive and not this running up and down (tom and jerry) 😂 A saying that resonates with me, 'every chicken has its day,' keeps me motivated and hopeful. As I aspire to leverage my experience in passive maintenance to establish new benchmarks for telecommunications maintenance standards. 😁
