Thank you, Tushar Nair for the nice things you have written about me. It was a pleasure to start a young lawyer on a glorious journey in the profession. When I was enrolled 39 years ago, I had no idea what my journey would be. I still don’t. My advice to young lawyers on the threshold of a new career is: be highly ambitious but have low expectations. Let’s say you are highly ambitious and you want to run a marathon (a little over 42 km) in two hours and 35 seconds (that’s probably the world record). You will not start running 40 km every day. You will not even run 5 km a day. You cannot reach such high expectations. You will not take the first step forward. You must set your expectations low, as low as you can achieve without too much of strain. You must aim at walking 100 m from your house to the road. Once you get into this habit, you can probably start walking a kilometre or two and then you will start running longer distances. You will eventually build enough stamina to run a marathon and 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆. A lawyer wanting to be the best lawyer in the country should probably start off with the low expectation of reading and understanding just one page of a senior’s brief, not more than this. This will be the starting point, the first step on a great journey of a lifetime. ALL THE BEST! His gesture brought wide smiles to many of our faces. I felt it was only right to share one of the most wholesome moments of my life with each one of you. Ramakrishnan Viraraghavan sir, Thank you.

Gratitude Thank God every morning when you get up that you have something to do that day, which must be done, whether you like it or not. I like to thank God for giving me another day to work on being kinder, wiser, thankful, and more humble. I want to make my experience one so that when I am with people, either in person or online, they will feel that I care about them because I do. I hope I make a positive difference in their lives and that they pass this feeling on to others. Take a minute to self-reflect and ask yourself: How do I want to live? What do I need to learn? What can I improve upon? Who do I need to forgive? How can I be more loving? How can I be more compassionate? Who and what am I thankful for?

🌟 5 Polite Ways to Say Thank You in English 🌟 Feeling grateful and want to express it in a way that’s both elegant and heartfelt? Here are five sophisticated expressions to convey your thanks: “I’m truly grateful for your help.” - This is when someone has done something extra to assist you, and you want to show your gratitude. “Your support means the world to me.” - This is for when someone has been there for you emotionally or morally, and you want to express how much it means to you. “I appreciate your kindness more than words can express.” - Use this when a simple 'thank you' doesn't seem sufficient for the kindness shown to you. “Thank you for being so considerate.” - This is a way to acknowledge and appreciate someone's considerate actions or gestures towards you. “I owe you a debt of gratitude.” - Use this when you feel deeply indebted to someone for their generosity or help.
