Research shows women board directors are less likely to adhere to board norms. Instead, they want the board to make the best possible decisions. Another finding? According to Harvard Business Review, women are not shy about acknowledging when they don’t know something and are more willing to ask in-depth questions. As a result, the presence of women improves the quality of discussion. Not to mention, more women on boards benefits the bottom line. Companies with women on their boards are 10x more profitable. This is a no-brainer. Promote women. In partnership with Indeed. #InspireInclusion #WomensHistoryMonth

Women are often considered less confident than their male counterparts, but it turns out that women are actually better assessors of their actual capabilities. We have a tendency to conflate confidence with competence, which means a lot of overconfident people get promoted. #hirewomen #workrevolution

Yesterday I attended a webinar called, "Empowering Women in Business: Strategies for Success." The speakers had so many great insights, but I had to share a tip that I learned from ✨Vivian Kaye. As women, we routinely underestimate our abilities. She talked about her strategy called, "What Would Chad Do?" When you have self-limiting beliefs, ask yourself what a mediocre person in your place would do. 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

Helping HR and wellbeing within organisations retain their midlife executives by helping them go from menopausal muddle to midlife magic | Therapeutic coach | Menopause coach | 1-2-1 coaching | Corporate coaching
We need more women on boards and that means supporting women in leadership as they go through the “big changes” of life including menopause and motherhood, so organisations don’t lose that incredible talent. As demonstrated below, it makes sense for every area of business for women to be in those roles. 💖
