I’ll never turn down extra time with the kids…got to spend the day at the zoo for the kindergarten field trip! I’d feel much better if I had gotten more than 3 hours sleep due to an ER trip for Emily but it is what it is. Once I do land my next role, PTO days will be used for events like this. Just seeing how happy Avery has been makes my day! Also…the jaguar was extremely active this morning and walked right toward us! I’ve had a couple great initial phone calls on a few roles…really praying that one of those works out! I’ll remain on the hunt until I have a signed offer and official start date…which I’m really hoping is soon!!!!! Remember…take time with the family. If you have kids, they’re only little once…do everything you can to spend time with them, teach them, read the book, play the game or watch their favorite show. Those are the moments they’ll remember. #beagoodhuman #opentowork #salescareers #marketingcareers #salesopportunities #marketingopportunities #lookingfornewopportunities #hireme #salesjobs #marketingjobs #remoteopportunities #recruiters #mentalhealthawareness

@hopeforprisoners Second Chance Month:Second Chance employment is of utmost importance in our society. It offers individuals with a criminal record the opportunity to reintegrate into the workforce and rebuild their lives. By providing second chances, employers not only contribute to reducing recidivism but also promote a more inclusive and fair society. Second Chance employment allows individuals to demonstrate their skills, talents, and dedication, proving that their past mistakes do not define them. It gives them a sense of purpose, self-worth, and stability, which are crucial for successful reintegration into the community. Moreover, by offering employment opportunities to those with a criminal record, businesses and organizations gain access to a diverse pool of talent and potential employees who are often highly motivated to prove themselves. Ultimately, Second Chance employment benefits both individuals and society as a whole, fostering a more compassionate and supportive community #careeremployment #secondchances #letsgo www.hopeforprisoners.org

I've been running into a bunch of students working at their summer jobs—grocery stores, neighborhood pools, etc. They often seem happier, more independent, more confident than they appear at school. I see them taking directions from managers and getting things done. There's no grumbling, no "late work," and no asking, "Can I just do this at home later?" And they're not on their phones! They're working hard—not simply socializing or goofing around—although, as the article mentions, these jobs can also be a lot of fun. How can schools learn from this? How can schools create environments that mimic the structure, focus, and momentum of a healthy and productive workplace so that students feel driven to achieve an appropriate reward?

What does "allyship" mean in practice? And how can we foster a workplace where all employees can thrive? These are a few of the questions that came up at a recent discussion event for our interns, hosted by our Early Talent team. Interns heard from Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) members about the power of advocacy in the workplace and what it means to be an effective ally—today, tomorrow and always. Our ERGs are one of many ways that we bring employees together and strengthen our inclusive workplace. Learn more: https://bit.ly/45A53gR #Allyship #LifeAtLiberty
