Price Chopper/Market 32 Transportation Teammates Participate In Convoy For A Cause The 11th annual Convoy for a Cause is an annual event hosted by the Fonda Fair in Fonda, NY. An average of 200 vehicles participate each year. Proceeds raised from the event help support local causes. This year, proceeds were donated to the family of Hudson Smith, who was diagnosed with brain cancer, is currently on active chemotherapy and is now legally blind. “I would like to thank the drivers who participated in this event - @Brendan Boucher, Doug Dinko, Jake Phillips, and Alex Schoenbaum. Thank you, gentlemen – and to the entire Transportation Team!” - Keith Rockenstyre, General Manager of Transportation for Price Chopper/Market 32

Nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s dementia- one of the leading causes of death among people 65 and older. These numbers are projected to nearly double in the next 25 years, barring the development of medical breakthroughs to prevent or cure Alzheimer’s Disease. Earlier this summer Price Chopper/Market 32 and Freihofer’s donated $.10 cents to the Alzheimer's Association® with each purchase of select Freihofer’s product. Over $22,000 was raised to help provide care and support services, educate and raise awareness, accelerate research, and advocate for the needs of those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Pictured here, Price Chopper/Market32 Community Relations Specialist and Alzheimer’s Association Board Member Molly McCann-Mall, MHA McCann-Mall, (third from left) presents a check to elizabeth smith-boivin, Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern NY executive director (far left), Ashley Enekes, senior development manager (far right), and Dave Antolowitz (second from left ) and Ed Neary (second from right), Alzheimer Association board members.

We were proud to present the Connect Center's Tacos for Life! On Saturday, July 13, hundreds came out to support the Connect Center for Youth by participating in a taco tasting tour featuring recipes from some of the finest restaurants and chefs in New York’s Capital Region. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Center’s programs, which address a wide range of community needs, including after-school enrichment, nutrition security, health and well-being and education. Thanks to our teammates who helped make it a success and show once again we’re not just in your neighborhood, we’re your neighbor!
