So, my current EMS DPH Region is coming together to create a local EMS conference. We are just in the preplanning stages. I want this to prosper as much as the MetroAtlanta EMS conference has, as well as SwampRabbitt in South Carolina. We have such a plethora of great things for travelers to do off-site that it could be the next thing in EMS. So I would like to see what you all would like to see in a prehospital specialty conference? What classes or speakers would you like to see? What are some cost associations that you could see as reasonable? What are some food options? What are some ideas that you would like to see a panel discussion on? How many days should this conference be?

As a Critical Access Hospital, we are required to complete an annual review to be compliant with federal regulations and conditions of participation. More importantly, as a local hospital, it's important to us that we are transparent with our community and share information about our successes and opportunities for improvement. That's why we're making our Critical Access Hospital Annual Report public and why we're sharing it with you. This report includes information about our service volume, type of service, trends, concerns, accomplishments, and more. What is important to you for your ACO to be successful? How can you be sure you are providing the best care for your patients, especially your chronically ill, to get them to the right place, at the right time, preventing medical errors and keeping costs down? Is it data aggregation and the speed it's processed? The ability to have numerous reports integrated into one? The ability to stack rank high utilizers and predict patient costs? Utilizing digital twins or Real-time ENS and how it improves TCM? If you are unable to attend the Acclivity Health Happy Hour or you are not a "new entrant" but would still like to connect about what is needed for ACOs to be successful in value based care models, feel free to reach out! At The King's Fund event in London, I couldn't help but reflect on a recent article I read in the BBC, which highlighted the pressing issues our healthcare system faces. The story of Gwyn John, a 78-year-old who had been with his GP for over seven decades, resonated deeply with me. Gwyn found himself 32nd in a call queue for his GP, which ultimately led to him ending a lifelong relationship with his healthcare provider. It's a heart-wrenching example of how the increasing strain on GP practices is affecting patients and their loyalty to long-standing institutions. The situation is alarming. Talks breaking down over a new financial deal have pushed GP practices into what doctors are calling a "crisis." The British Medical Association's recent survey revealed that full-time GPs in Wales have declined over the past decade, while patient numbers have increased. The workload is taking its toll, with 80% of GPs expressing concerns about providing quality care due to high workloads. As a doctor and co-founder of a company focused on reducing wait times through innovative automation, I can't help but see the urgency for change. Our system aims to empower patients, providing them with 24/7 access to manage their appointments and ultimately alleviate the burdens on GP practices. We must work collectively to find solutions, ease the burden on healthcare providers, and ensure that individuals like Gwyn John do not need to endure such frustrating experiences. The future of healthcare lies in innovation, patient-centric approaches, and a commitment to addressing the challenges our system faces. Let's take this inspiration from the Kings Fund event and drive positive change together. 💪🏥 #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCentricCare #KingsFundEvent #GPChallenges #KFAnnual

Join us online next Thursday for our Policy Forum 💻 It has been a year since AMAPP was created as a response to the TGA rescheduling, and patients are now being treated with PAT in the community Over the year AMAPP has been committed to developing the infrastructure required for safe and effective PAT in Australia. We have worked hard to create a framework for safety and efficacy with accreditation, education, governance and code of conduct within this new legal treatment framework. While there is more important work to do in this regard, this is an opportune moment for the AMAPP community to meet, reflect and provide feedback on the work already done. With governance presently a hot topic, we would welcome input as always to our existing policies and ideas to improve. These documents are not static, but fluid and will continue to develop as the emerging field of PAT develops across Australia Please join us for the community forum on 18 April at 1830-1930 AEDT The forum will discuss current governance policies: · What is our strategy · What have we got right · What areas of the policy require ongoing development and refining · What needs clarification and further distinction · Discussion and questions from attendees Panel chair(s): Dr Anthony Bloch- Chair, AMAPP Dr Chaitanya Kotapati- Board Member- Policy Cost: Free Join the FB event for updates: https://rb.gy/gwfjme Register to attend: https://rb.gy/f4s6og Pre-reading: https://rb.gy/m9fsa0
