In 2024, #ESGinnovations are playing a crucial role in redefining business strategies on a global scale. One of the most impactful changes is the increasing emphasis on "double materiality" in #sustainabilityreporting, especially in Europe. Under the new CSRD, around 50,000 companies, including many from outside Europe, must disclose financial and impact materiality (World Economic Forum). This means reporting not only on financial and material sustainability issues but also on the societal and environmental implications of their business operations.

Addressing Today´s Challenges

It’s that time of year when we look back on the last 12 months and take stock of everything we have accomplished in our annual Impact Report. We’re especially proud that our work landed on more policymakers’ desks in 2023 than ever! Wrapping up this year, we have empowered 30 businesses, three cities and four nations across three continents to become more circular. This contributes to the 150 businesses, 55 cities and 27 nations across six continents we’ve aided over the past ten years. Europe has a strong record on sustainability and inclusion. But in a new geo-economic era, it faces new pressures on its competitiveness in seven key dimensions: innovation, energy, supply chains, capital, talent, size, and competition and markets.
