UN Global Compact Network USA’s Post

Last week, Mallory Cannon, UN Global Compact Network USA's Climate and Environment Program Coordinator, spoke with Hajar Yagkoubi in a live studio talk show session during World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden. This session focused on how the American #privatesector can engage in collective action to safeguard our water supply. Our recently published #whitepaper on corporate water stewardship was highlighted as a resource for companies. Mallory discussed how businesses can enhance their water stewardship strategies in the U.S. through collective action by drawing on six case studies: Microsoft, Cargill, PepsiCo, Gotham Greens, S&P Global, and Xylem. The scale and stakes of the water crisis demand that every organization, large or small, has a role in amplifying the impact and expediting progress toward achieving SDG 6.
