How cool! Didn't know I could want a third thumb. Love the point they making about "testing technology on a diverse range of people". I know diversity and inclusion has become a bandwagon to get on. It's truly helpful when it isn't just about having user testers with different skin colours and the rainbow. One of the biggest challenges for MYP and DP students in product design is iterating their designs after testing. Another significant hurdle is creating functional prototypes that work and can be tested, not just conceptual models. This difficulty often arises because many students do not start studying design from MYP1, missing out on acquiring essential skills early on. Manual labor and learning about different processes are often left to the last few years of MYP or DP, making their tasks much harder at the DP level. My goal is to find a way to incorporate prototype making early so students can be more confident later on.
