The only times I've been hired for Jack-of-all-trades work, it's been for garbage. 🗑️ People who have real work for you to do want you to do ONE THING extremely well and become a part of their TEAM so they can become more efficient and WIN! 🦸♀️🦸♂️ I do one thing. I edit video. 🧙♂️ I'm not doing any graphics for you. I'm not filming anything for you. Nothing. I see these posts where people are advertising that they have skills in like EIGHT different disciplines and you're telling on yourself that you aren't any good at ANY of them. Somebody told you that the way to get a job is to know a bunch of different things. Except that's how you get a job with scrubs who don't know what they're doing. THEN you do some garbage work for them and then you can't figure out why you can't get hired by real people. What you need to do is get REALLY GOOD at ONE THING and then do that for SOMEBODY IMPORTANT who will tell SOMEBODY ELSE IMPORTANT that you guided them to a WIN and then you will get business via word of mouth.

Starting a service business as "the technician" is a tricky trap to get out of. You have to 1. break things down into simple chunks 2. hire, train, & manage junior team 3. while scaling sales It's a race to replace yourself in the business - it feels impossible at times

I have an important question for my clients...  Do you have a plan A, B, and C?  When it comes to hiring into your business you can't be 100% rigid. There needs to be some flexibility so that if your 1st plan doesn't work, you can go with plan 2 or 3.  A – The ideal candidate  B – E.g. Considering a cutting tool salesperson for a machine tool position.  C – E.g. Someone from an applications background, who hasn't physically sold. They still have the basics that they can build upon.  Have you considered what an A, B, or C applicant could look like? The role is COMMISSION ONLY! So you would need savings behind you to cover yourself in those initial phases of building up your pipeline. Driving license?
