Let's talk about an important topic: loneliness among girls. Our recent survey found that nearly 70% of girls aged 5 to 13 experience loneliness. As they grow older, this feeling only intensifies. At Girl Scouts, we want to see girls shine and make lasting connections. That's why we've developed tailored programming to tackle these challenges head-on. Watching friendships form in my daughter's troop and seeing the whole troop gather around a girl who may be in crisis was such a beautiful experience to witness. These girls brought to life our Girl Scout Law in truly being a sister to every Girl Scout.

It just loneliness amongst youth. Being a Girl Scoit volunteer is a fulfilling way to connect with other adults focused on similar goals and interests. I have made wonderful positive connections and lifelong friends through volunteering with Girl Scouts.

Mental wellness is critical at any age, but especially for our young girls navigating a challenging world. We must continue to approach these important topics. Thank you Girl Scouts for putting this program together.
