8 Things To Do Before 8 AM Every Day! This list comes from @Christopher Rocas. We really appreciate his content and read it regularly. This time we added a bit more to each one (based on my own experience) 1. Relive Yesterday - List your wins - List what you’ve survived - Be thankful for the present - ADD: What would you change, done differently, and why? The fastest way to self-improve is to learn from your own behaviors. 2. Think in Reverse - Write 3-4 sentences on “What would make today great?” - Don’t do anything else until you’ve done it - ADD: Review this from the previous day for step #1 3. Plan 90 for Deep Work - Prioritize you! - Find a 90-minute window and block it for “deep work” - Do your most important tasks - ADD: When done celebrate! Even for 30 seconds, it will rewire your subconscious 4. Sweat - Workout in whatever way makes you feel good – HIIT, Yoga, Run, Walk - Make this time non-negotiable - Do it outside - ADD: It doesn’t need to be complex, even starting with “I will walk for 15 minutes before I take my morning shower” and visualize your ideal body while doing it.  5. Build Your Word Bank - Learn a new word every day. - Do it in the AM and it becomes an easy win for the day - You will be in the top 1% of smart people - ADD: Use that word 3x during the day and you won’t ever forget it 6. Write a ‘Not To-Do List” - Not To Do List are usually more important than your standard To-Do List - Write it out every single morning - Ask: “What will ruin my day, and keep me from hitting my goals? - ADD: Post the list somewhere that is visible to you and read it 3x per day (e.g. on your monitor) 7. Time block your day - Buy a moleskin grid notebook, and write 15-minute intervals for the day. - Script your day - If it gets messed up, X out your plan and rescript. Do it until end of day and repeat - ADD: Use an online tool so it is always with you (cell, iPad, computer), and have the tool notify you at regular intervals. 8. Stop the endless scroll - Limit social media - Set a timer - Imagine if you spent 50% of your time scrolling going after your goals - ADD: Turn off all notifications and you will be less likely to want to check social media.
