Yesterday, I got a chance to attend the webinar on “The Convergence of Adtech and Martech” hosted by Snowflake and the webinar highlighted the role of Snowflake's technology in powering marketing and advertising efforts. Following were the key takeaways of the webinar: #Adtech Meets #Martech: The Key Takeaways In a world where AdTech and MarTech are increasingly intertwined, the event presented some compelling insights: 🔘 First-party Data: In the impending cookie-less future, the reliance on first-party data is not just prudent but critical. 🔘 Snowflake as a Catalyst: Snowflake is emerging as the go-to platform to house and activate this data across various channels, marking a pivotal shift in how we approach customer data. 🔘 Composable CDPs: A composable CDP framework over Snowflake enables businesses to build and scale their customer data capabilities flexibly. It was great to get insights into how Snowflake acts as a centralized repository to manage all customer data across all touchpoints and channels. A composable CDP when built on technology like Snowflake allows organizations to create the full set of first-party data as well as it eliminates the need for buying separate data activation tools and drives delivery across various channels. It also offers a 360-degree view of customers and helps in delivering a personalized experience across various channels. 🚀 Exciting Project Alert: Black Friday Sales Analysis with Power BI! 📊 I’m thrilled to share my latest project where I had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of data analysis and visualization using Power BI. Here’s a glimpse of what I accomplished: 🎯 Objective The goal of this project was to analyze Black Friday sales data to uncover key insights and trends. This involved cleaning and preparing the data in Google Colab and then creating a comprehensive multi-page dashboard in Power BI. 📈 Data Insights and Visualizations Overview Insights and trends from the sales data, which included metrics such as total sales, unique customers, total transactions, and average purchase value. After cleaning the data to handle missing and duplicate values, I created a comprehensive multi-page Power BI dashboard. The first page provided an overview with summary metrics and visualizations like total purchases by gender and age group. The second page focused on product analysis, showcasing top product categories and sales distribution. 🛠 Tools Used Google Colab: For data cleaning and preparation. Power BI: For data visualization and dashboard creation. 🔍 Key Learnings Efficient data cleaning and handling missing values in Google Colab. Utilizing DAX queries in Power BI for insightful metrics. Designing an interactive and user-friendly multi-page dashboard. 🌟 Outcome This project has provided deep insights into customer behavior during Black Friday and highlighted significant trends and patterns.
