In a comprehensive presentation at the Proactive One2One Investor Conference, ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) CEO, Andrew Newland, and CFO, Ian Griffiths, detailed the company's innovative approach to #cancer #diagnosis and #treatment. Newland emphasised ANGLE's breakthrough #technology, the Parsortix system, a groundbreaking instrument designed for separating cancer cells from blood. This British-developed technology provides a viable alternative to traditional biopsies, especially useful as cancer evolves over time, making repeated tissue biopsies impractical. ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) has achieved a significant milestone with the only FDA clearance globally for harvesting cancer cells from blood for analysis, taking six and a half years. This clearance serves as a major credibility factor in discussions with potential customers. It is really inspirational to work in an environment where people solve not only important but existential problems. Change one "letter" in your DNA code, and change your life. The gene therapy toolbox offers a new era of "antibiotics" and methods to cure severe diseases like cancer. In some cases, gene therapy may restore sight to the blind and enable the deaf to hear. Hearing about Dr. Jennifer Johnston's from NySnoBio efforts to use gene therapy to cure young people with Parkinson's disease fills us with hope. While gene therapy may not help everyone, it is undeniably a game-changer for mankind. Consider this... With gene therapy, we could develop new "antibiotics" that make resistant bacteria visible to our immune system or susceptible to antibiotics once again. This approach is already ongoing. Additionally, we could treat life-threatening brain cancer like glioblastoma or breast cancer using possible gene therapy tools, such as those developed by Dr. Evy Lundgren-Åkerman from Xintela/Targinta (https://lnkd.in/dkpFgkK6). This brings hope to many people...... thank you! #genetherapy #drugdelivery #smartmedicine #trutags
