Love this self-reflection prompt from Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center. Sharing my thoughts below, and would love to hear yours! --- In my first job, a skill I learned that still serves me today is... the value of adaptability. Early in my career, interning with eSports & convention marketing campaigns, I quickly realized that no event or project ever goes exactly as planned. Whether it was resolving unexpected issues like a tardy vendor or finding creative solutions on the fly, expecting the unexpected made all the difference. The fast-paced environment and long hours of the event world have taught me that success often times comes from anticipating needs and taking decisive action quickly. How you react to the curveballs thrown your way is a critical aspect of quality success and leadership. These lessons in adaptability and proactive problem-solving have not only shaped my professional journey but also enriched my personal life. Despite all our planning, we never 100% know what’s coming next - and that unpredictability is what makes the journey exciting!
