Crushing things has been a YouTube staple for years, captivating millions with the simple joy of seeing objects transformed under hydraulic pressure. Yet, why does this formula feel off when a trillion-dollar company uses it? Maybe it’s not just the ad. Perhaps it stirs something deeper in us creatives. A giant corporate machine, metaphorically crushing the human made masterpiece out of oblivious idiocy? In these days, with the doom and gloom of AI, our insecurities as creatives are not just triggered—they are amplified. We stand at a crossroads where technology stretches its fingers toward the very essence of our creative souls. So, maybe complaining about the ad is missing the point.
