I love what he's done with WealthVP and our fund Funding Impact actually applied to join the network. Hopefully, it's positive 🙂 So, here's my takeaways from the show: 1. Hire people that are executives and have experience, where they made mistakes in other companies already when you raise money from investors. Don't be a cheap ass on this end, because it will delay your speed and progress to grow your company faster. 2. Have the courage to ask for higher amounts, imagine trying to raise $1M from 50 investors, 20k each? It would take forever and be nearly impossible becuase you'd have to contact 50x the amount of investors to get to that number and having a network like that is rare. This is why our min for our fund is around $2M, plus we have $14M of our own capital (skin in the game) already invested. 3. Often times HN (High Networth) investors won't invest anything under $1M and will shy away from anything less because they think they'll loose their money. 4.
