Brian As I mentioned when I saw you at NADA...I am most grateful for all that I have learned from your education dedication. And I am all for the de-legacy-ing of retail auto. For me, the challenge is not the validity of the technology...it's the integration of that tech into existing dealer processes that may be perceived as "good enough" (currently) for that retail auto decision maker. I got into retail auto when you could get a dealer leader's attention by using the "if you could just sell/service one or a few more cars" close. Those days are long gone and they should be. I believe the effective retail auto leaders today look at the "disruption" factor a lot more than they did in the past. In most cases, when you integrate a new piece of technology success is going to require a change in the people who deliver the existing process...and thus adapting the culture to that "new way" as well. Plus, this is a business that lives/dies in a 30 day cycle of accountability and any disruption could affect that negatively. New products/processes take time to seed...sometimes, a lot of time. And as we all know, culture change is behavior change...the hardest change for leaders and their suppliers to navigate. Former leader of AutoNation MIKE JACKSON has said...the retail auto "culture" doesn't always seem "logical" to retail auto innovators and people outside the industry...night can be day, up can be down, etc. Just thinking... Unfortunately I cant attend EXPO REAL (Messe München) this year, but I am looking forward to taking part virtually in this event with The Poland Observer, Grow with Warsaw and Richard Stephens. Triangle Tyre will exhibit at The Tire Cologne with a 150sqm booth designed to highlight its role in the European tyre market. The prominent stand (see picture) will also feature a 12sqm LED wall to enhance the manufacturer’s impact on the global tyre fair, helping it to stand out amongst the 273 confirmed exhibitor stands confirmed for the event at time of writing. Triangle Tyre is a mainstay of the largest European fair, exhibiting at every event since The Tire Cologne replaced Messe Essen’s biannual Reifen event. Triangle revealed that its booth will showcase brand-new products across the PCR, TBR, and OTR segments, demonstrating Triangle's focus on delivering top-class solutions across all segments. The design of the booth builds on that employed by Triangle at The Tire Cologne 2022. Triangle said the previous booth had drawn “many positive comments from the industry professionals, especially Triangle customers.” As part of its engagement with customers, Triangle Tyre will host an exclusive gala dinner at the prestigious Park-Café in Cologne, offering a unique networking opportunity in a picturesque setting along the Rhine River. The Triangle brand was relaunched in Europe with the opening of its regional headquarters in Italy in 2017. The brand assembled a team of experienced tyre professionals, tasked with increasing volumes distributed across all countries in the continent and strong long-term partnerships with key importers and distributors who are opinion leaders in their respective national markets. Triangle has also upgraded the quality of its product ranges in each segment in recent years. It targets “best-in-class from a price positioning-quality ratio perspective” across segments, while its OTR range is well-established around the world through original equipment supply deals in many markets with leading machinery brands. 🚚 On the Road: Conference Recap 🚚 Over the past few months, we’ve been busy attending key industry events, connecting with fleet managers, and showcasing our fleet data solutions. Here’s a quick recap: 1️⃣ Volkswagen Group Fleet International Konzern Forum Our very first trade fair booth! It was a proud moment for us as a team, presenting our solutions and connecting with fleet managers and software providers on a more personal level. The interest in our fleet data products was remarkable, and the conversations we had here set the tone for the rest of our road trip. 2️⃣ IAA Transportation We had the pleasure of collaborating with our colleagues at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, showcasing Fleet Interface Data on their booth. It was an exciting opportunity to demonstrate the power of data-driven solutions for fleet management. 3️⃣ Autoflotte Cupra Day Julian Burkhardt delivered an insightful keynote on "The Future of Fleet: Optimizing Fleet Management with Data-driven Solutions." His talk resonated strongly with attendees, especially as we shared our approach to transforming fleet management through data insights. 4️⃣ bfp FUHRPARK & MANAGEMENT FORUM At this event, we had the chance to discuss our entire fleet data portfolio with fleet managers from various industries. It was a great way to round off the trade fair month. Our Key Takeaways: 🤲 Fleet managers need data to reduce the manual work of fleet management. 🌍 Co₂ and sustainability reporting are top priorities. 👩💻 Data’s value in fleet management has skyrocketed over the last year. 🎨 Fleet diversity (delivery, service, business) is driving the need for adaptable solutions.
