Thank you for being part of the future of RTS! 💙
Last week we attended the Association of Old Crows Collaborative EW symposium.
MACE and ARMOR can provide unrivalled EW planning and mission rehearsal capability.
In the image below you'll see jamming corridors in MACE (black areas) and the same in 3D in ARMOR. In ARMOR, the SA-15 label in the top right is flashing blue indicating that it is being effectively jammed by a blue asset - in this case the Air Launched Effect (ALE) which is a drone fitted with a microjammer. This is covering the approach of the F-15s which are about to enter the SA-15 weapon engagement zone.
MACE and ARMOR offer capabilities far beyond traditional mission planning tools by enabling full spectrum EW analysis, visualization, and iteration of planned courses of action in the presence of 5th generation threat systems.

Thanks to @rusi for more great insights into the future (or present) of Land warfare. My three takeaways: 1) integrated force design remains a critical priority, 2) more system-centric over platform-centric thinking is essential to maintain tempo, and, 3) the lessons we learn apply as much to how we protect our forces as how we employ new technology in different ways.
"Can you kill a bear with a thousand paper cuts or slay a dragon with an armada of toy boats? Many a wargame I have participated in suggests you can. Beyond rolling dice and questioning salvo exchange models, the challenge is understanding the types of battles and larger campaigns where swarms make a difference," writes Dr. Benjamin Jensen in War on the Rocks.

The company official noted that "the micro AUV market is relatively niche, but new startups are beginning to pop up, and it's likely a similar trend to the proliferation of uncrewed aerial systems and uncrewed ground combat systems will soon emerge in the naval domain."
We will see more and more companies realize the potential for these systems to completely disrupt maritime operations. Mini-sized USVs that have a swarming capability will change the very nature of offensive maritime operations.

Last week, we shared our "Briefing Note for Average People" on UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena), and the response was incredible! Clearly, this topic resonates with many of you. And you're not alone—Retired US Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet is part of this important conversation. The Admiral is a renowned scientist, responsible for much of the US Navy’s operational success in a wide range of maritime conditions. It goes without saying, you don’t earn the title of "Rear Admiral" without being exceptional at your job.
Admiral Gallaudet has been speaking on the UAP issue given his unique experience, and a recent podcast appearance of his has already reached over 1 million views.
This public conversation is crucial, but even more important is the legislative activity surrounding it. Admiral Gallaudet, along with several other high-ranking officials, will soon testify under oath before the US Congress, and they’re all delivering a consistent message: there are objects moving in ways we cannot yet explain, the full truth hasn't been disclosed, and it's time to address this issue with the seriousness it deserves.
As a leader, it’s essential to stay informed on this matter. You can start by reading our briefing note: https://lnkd.in/ggeQHhuy
Huge congratulations to Admiral Gallaudet for successfully bringing this important message to so many. His leadership—and that of many others—is driving real progress. Best wishes to him for his upcoming historic testimony.

Hard to believe my interview on The Shawn Ryan Show now has 1 million views! I think it represents the surge of interest in #UAP (previously #UFO) since the 2017 story in The New York Times about the United States Department of Defense's UFO program. With my expertise in #marine#science and #technology, I have focused on the observations of these phenomena in the #ocean, otherwise known as unidentified submerged objects (USOs).
Yesterday I was invited to testify on UAP disclosure before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Accountability in November. Not sure if Congress will pass the UAP Disclosure Act sponsored by Leader Schumer and Senator Rounds, but I will make a case for it based on the right of the American people to know that we are not alone, and the #nationalsecurity implications of that astonishing reality.

Shouldn't the existing Leo2A4 and Leo2A6 fleets receive an upgrade package soon?
The 🇩🇪-made Leopard 2A6 tank, captured in Ukraine by Russian forces, has arrived at Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil. [...] The capture and subsequent study of this type of technology is certainly not good news for Ukraine's allies, but it is important to put things in perspective.

THE INVISIBLE BATTLEFIELD: OVERCOMING WIRELESS CHALLENGES IN JUNGLE WARFARE
Jungle warfare, a crucible for military forces throughout history, remains a formidable battlefield, where visibility is often measured by a few feet. From the ancient world to the Pacific islands during World War II, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the modern Indo-Pacific environments, dense foliage has consistently obscured the battlefield, hindering maneuverability and communication. The ability to maintain situational awareness and coordinate forces in this environment is paramount, making wireless communications and sensing technologies indispensable.
However, the jungle presents a uniquely hostile environment for wireless systems. The thick canopy attenuates radio signals, creating dead zones and severely limiting range. Additionally, the dynamic nature of the jungle, with constant changes in foliage, terrain, humidity and weather, introduces unpredictable signal fluctuations. These factors render current wireless technologies and modern drone warfare largely ineffective in supporting critical operations under thick jungle canopies.
To overcome these challenges, Saltenna is developing innovative solutions that can penetrate dense foliage, operate reliably in dynamic conditions, and provide robust communication and sensing capabilities.

The usage envelope for remotely piloted aircraft systems is still expanding. The dyad of new technology and new operational methods is providing new capabilities to NATO forces.
Satellite imagery of a secretive Chinese aviation test base offers new evidence of a surge in the development of the GJ-11 Sharp Sword, a stealthy flying-wing uncrewed combat air vehicle (UCAV). Work on the GJ-11, which has already come with a growing eye toward future shipboard operations, swarming in cooperative groups, and teaming with crewed combat jets, reflects a broader expansion of testing of Chinese flying-wing UCAV designs. China’s efforts in this realm have been further underscored by video clips that recently emerged online and stand in stark contrast to those of the U.S. military, which is not currently pursuing any similar designs, at least that we know of in the public domain.
