💙 Freeport East welcomes Government ambition and puts Bathside Bay investment at heart of response to Government’s 2030 Clean Power commitment. 📝 At their recent Board meeting, held at the offices of RWE GALLOPER WIND FARM LIMITED in Harwich, Freeport East has highlighted the importance of the Bathside Bay port expansion project as a top priority for enabling the Government to deliver on their ambitious 2030 objectives for Clean Power and offshore wind. Harwich forms a key part of an emerging Clean Growth Zone within Freeport East that will deliver across the Government’s energy agenda, including on offshore wind, green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels, cleaner shipping and green manufacturing. 👍 The anticipated investment in the port and associated facilities would bring thousands of jobs to the area and support the UK to remain internationally competitive in the offshore wind sector. https://lnkd.in/eAHUfatd 🖥 For more information on the Bathside Bay project see here: https://lnkd.in/eAgN_pkC Essex County Council Suffolk County Council University of Essex Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils Tendring District Council Hutchison Ports (UK) Gateway 14, Stowmarket East Suffolk Council Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Port of Felixstowe / Port of Britain Ivan Henderson Lesley Wagland Robert Singh Rachel Eburne Sir Christopher Haworth Bt
