Astro Tech -- 61mp in Your Backpack We started taking pictures from drones in 2003. We had small CCTV cameras duct taped to the eye pieces of the first DSLRs and our max flight time was 2.5mins. Crashes were frequent, and the struggle was intense! If you told us then we would have a drone that carried a 61mpx imager, flew for 30 mins, and could hold its position down to centimeter accuracy we would not have believed you. Astro is the most packable drone to offer this type of flight time and resolution. Throw these in your truck and tackle any challenge! From Compass to Drones: The Evolution of Excellence at QES 🚀🧭 On Day 3 of #NationalSurveyorsWeek, we celebrate how our deep understanding of traditional surveying methods sets the foundation for mastering advanced technology. Our proficiency in the fundamentals allows us to leverage cutting-edge tools, such as drones and our LiDAR camera, to deliver more detailed information faster than ever before. Case in point: A recent project where our team conducted a drone LiDAR scan of 1,000 acres for a future development. Our skilled drone pilots navigated the terrain from an 85’ Manlift, maintaining visual line of sight and radio frequency communication with the drone, even over a mile away. This innovative approach exemplifies QES’s commitment to excellence, combining traditional know-how with modern technology to shape the future of land development. #SurveyingExcellence #DroneTechnology #LiDARMapping #FutureOfSurveying #QESTechnology

🟢 🌐 How Flyability Elios 3's LiDAR Works! 🌐 🔴 🌀 Once armed, the Elios 3's LiDAR module starts spinning, enabling the drone to rapidly generate a 3D map of its surroundings before it even takes off. 📍 Once airborne, the drone marks its path on the generated point cloud with a "breadcrumb trail," enhancing the operator's situational awareness. 🕹️ This feature allows operators to navigate confidently through intricate spaces, focusing on data collection without the stress of losing their way back. 🗺 The breadcrumb trail thus extends the potential for longer missions, ensuring operators can collect comprehensive data with less concern over orientation and return paths. #dailychew -no new connection- Freedom, Diversity, and Inclusion in DOD. Green DOD Prototype, Manufacturing, Research, Development, Fabrication, and Recycle Methodologies.
U.S. Secret Service -here are a few existing technologies (including radar) that could be deployed in Butler-type scenarios, including those on elevated platforms, cranes, rooftops, and drones. You could pull a boat up on a trailer and turn it on if you had to. You'd need cold water hoses for the engines, but that's it. The t-top on the boat, on top of the trailer, would give you about 15 feet off the ground. In its most simple form, it's that easy. -pay attention to the very end of the video. This marine use case is surprisingly similar, if not identical, to the Butler requirements. -note: view on a 27-inch screen. Look for the guy that goes behind the trees in the distance. It's nice this FLIR has night/day mode, with 30x zoom and overlay. Sweet. I'm unsure how well the radar works close-up, but some multi-swarm drone detection is needed and thus may do the trick. I don't know. Maybe. Hopefully.

Pre-sales Engineer for Silent Sentinel. GCH Rogue. CUxS and UxS Warfare Strategist. CUAS multi-level trainer.
In the #CUAS struggle, it is important to note a couple of things. There are two #UAV detection methods available to the general populace: #Optical and #Acoustic. If you're using an AeroScope based #RF detection system, then you can use that to detect DJI UAVs due to unique user agreements. This leaves out UAVs that aren't DJI, and #Autonomous flights without direct control inputs like the flight reported to have flown over the attempt on a current Presidential candidate. This problem ultimately lays in the hand of the #FAA #FCC and #Congress. Until they get it sorted out, Squarehead Technology and Silent Sentinel Limited have you covered, with top notch sensor capability that will work together, giving you notifications of what is in your airspace. While each site is different, optical and acoustic sensors have minimal legal and technical barriers for emplacement.

When it comes to aerial surveys, the question is no longer if you need a mapping drone. It's now about finding the best one. In addition to data reliability (getting high-quality data from every flight) and ease of use, you'll find that good payload options will dramatically reduce field time and even processing time. We brought RGB61 to the market last year to do just that. Swipe this carousel to get highlights from customers who are using and loving it, plus a few insights on why WingtraOne GEN II is such an asset to business bottom lines. #WingtraOneGENII #RGB61 #mappingdrone #aerialdata #efficiencymatters

Well, pressure sensors are like the BFFs of UAVs. They're like those friends who never let you down, you know? They're always filtering out the annoying stuff, staying precise no matter what, and they're just super adaptable. They're the real MVPs of the drone world! https://buff.ly/4amDmJp https://buff.ly/4dJxX1R

The TrueView range of LiDAR systems are generally below 3kg in weight, lending themselves well to use with the popular DJI options. For customers looking for longer flight, or heavier lift, we work very closely with Inspired Flight and their IF-800 Tomcat and the IF-1200A. These are very capable drones and will pair with our entire range – TrueView 540 to TrueView 720 (IF-1200A only for payloads over 3kg). Considering the different systems in our range, the IF-1200A can carry our TrueView systems for up to 40 minutes – collecting huge data per flight. With regard to our TrueView 680, the customer would enjoy more than 33 minutes per flight. At 120m and 8 m/s this offers around 200 hectares in a single flight, with equally impressive accuracy and precision numbers. The ultimate LiDAR system deserves the ultimate drone. The Inspired Flight Technologies Inc. drones are conventionally powered multi rotor systems and are manufactured in the USA. They also enjoy local support and service. Please feel free to contact GeoCue Australia for more information. .. .. .. #trueview #lidarsystems #dronelidar #lidar #inspiredflight #dronemapping #surveying #surveylife #drones #geocueaustralia
