“The thing about being a small business is that Lesli and I were able to take the good and the bad from our past jobs and experiences and make this our own. This is our company. Our employee said ‘Y'all treat me like family and do things for me that my past bosses wouldn't do.’ We do consider him family. He needed a ride to work one day because his car was in the shop. I offered to pick him up and he said ‘You would do that?’ Why not?” We’ve worked with so many clients who feel it’s important to create their own culture in their business. Sometimes, this is one of the driving factors for them in having a business. We all have experiences that may or may not be positive when we work for others. We can work to create our own dreams or we can work to help someone else create their dream. The choice is ours.
