This week Dan Nash and I are in Portland, Maine doing a Human Trafficking Interdiction and Operations training. HTTC offers law enforcement around the country (and world) skills based training. The world may never eradicate the problem of sexual human trafficking in my lifetime but what we can do is address it and approach correctly so we can •Help victims by correctly identifying them •Help victims by offering them help and resources •Arrest the traffickers and charge them with trafficking •Reduce the demand of the Johns and whenever possible, arresting them too. (I say whenever possible because each state has different laws) None of this is possible without law enforcement. We need them. Which is why it’s so important we train them so they have the correct skills to fight this fight. PS: The lobster roll was to die for in Maine. 🦞

If there are businesses in the French Quarter-or really any business or property owner in New Orleans-who is concerned about people possessing firearms on their premises, Louisiana law already allows them to prohibit or restrict access of those persons lawfully carrying a firearm on their premises.
