𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 The Pittsburgh Steelers are teaming up with Verizon to help relieve local veterans of consumer debt. Partnering with ForgiveCo, the Steelers and Verizon will wipe out $100,000 worth of debt every time the Steelers win this regular and postseason, providing a financial boost to those who have served. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is home to 800,000 veterans – the fourth largest veterans’ population in the US. In southwestern Pennsylvania alone, veterans carry more than $10 million in financial debt. The Steelers Vebt Relief program will recognize veterans in the community for their service and sacrifices, while also helping to alleviate debt. “We are excited to broaden our relationship with Verizon by partnering with them on the Steelers Vebt Relief program,” said Pittsburgh Steelers Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ryan Huzjak. “Both Verizon and the Steelers have made a meaningful impact in the greater Pittsburgh region for various military and veteran groups in the past, and the introduction of this initiative further exemplifies our continued commitment to making a tangible difference for these heroes and their families.” "Verizon remains committed to supporting the brave men and women who serve our country and communities," said Andrew Brady, Verizon Great Lakes Market President. "We're proud to stand alongside the Pittsburgh Steelers in launching this important initiative, providing much-needed relief for veterans in southwestern Pennsylvania. It's a privilege to partner with such a storied organization that shares our dedication to honoring and empowering those who have sacrificed so much."
