For those skeptical about #RankedChoiceVoting consider recent polling that shows if independent Robert Kennedy runs for President, then Trump would be elected. With RCV and same polling, then Biden would win. How does this work: when voter casts vote for Kennedy #1 and Biden as #2, and if Kennedy is the #3 overall, then all those Kennedy votes with Biden chosen 2nd would then go to Biden. Trump's vice-presidential candidate, J. D. Vance, is one of the least cohesive and most right-wing senators of the Republican Party. By applying the B-Call algorithm to Senate votes, it turns out that out of the 100 senators: - Vance is the 12th most right-wing (Tuberville is the most right-wing). - Vance is the 10th least cohesive senator (Paul is the least cohesive). - Vance has a similar behavior to Daniel Sullivan (to his left) and Michael Braun (to his right). Of these indicators, the second one (y-axis) indicates how cohesive a legislator is according to their own political position (x-axis). For example, Vance shares an ideological position (x-axis) similar to Ted Cruz (13th most right-wing), but Cruz is one of the most cohesive members of the Republican Party (low on the y-axis).
