I’m flying from Cape Town to Johannesburg just now. After the ‘demise’ of Comair, the British Airways franchise here, I’ve been using Safair to fly domestically in South Africa for a while now. Interestingly, they are positioned as a budget airline, but they do some things a really well - even better than BA did here. Their systems for communication and sending you updates and boarding passes are some of the best I’ve found anywhere in the world. And their ‘options’ when you buy a ticket - including the ability to block off the seat next to you (without paying the old business class prices that BA and other airlines charge here) is fantastic. In a market that’s becoming more and more competitive, they are not only better value than most of their higher-priced competitors , they are out-performing them in terms of service as well! We all know dynamic pricing from buying airline tickets, but now it has hit the bricks ✈ 💵   Legoland has introduced dynamic pricing for its tickets 🎫 The price now depends on the forecasted weather for the day! A sunny day will be more expensive than a rainy day. It should be said the already dynamically priced on the weekday, so weekend is typically more expensive ☀ 🌧   I couldn’t find specifics on the dynamic weather part of the pricing, but I guess it will be minor as with their weekday pricing (so maybe up to 50 kr per ticket). However, the key takeaway is that you should always get a coupon for Legoland as they are always available from various sources and offer a discount that makes the dynamic pricing irrelevant (up to 50%) 🤑   PS: Danes sometimes call these coupons for an indirect tourist tax, as foreigners don't often know about them 😂
