Grant opportunity: Private Sector Pathways Program – Tourism Open now; Closes 19/04/24; up to $100,000; Qld This program supports innovative small-to-medium enterprises based in Queensland to collaborate with corporate partners to develop commercialisation opportunities. They’re looking for innovative solutions to challenges presented by corporate partners. The program aims to increase partnerships between small-to-medium enterprises and corporate businesses/large organisations, improving business solutions and business collaboration. Small-to-medium businesses can receive funding from Advance Queensland and a corporate partner for solutions to be trialled for up to 6 months. Two new challenges for the tourism industry are now live: Innovative wonderment to support tourism operators to enhance visitor experiences at any stage/s of the travel consumer journey Unlock workforce capabilities for Queensland’s Tourism sector Eligibility: -Queensland registered ABN and be registered for GST. -Be an established Queensland-based startup or small to medium enterprise with full time equivalent employee count below 200. -Applicants must have a product, which is at, or beyond, minimum viable product – being developed in Queensland. I believe that tourism in many countries it is the  main  source of employment and entrepreneurship. Most important it gives opportunities for people to understand cultures they way people live and civilization and as people move from one place to another it increases wealth of those places so meaning that tourism really plays an important role across the world without tourism lack of knowledge will increase. 

The theme of Tourism Awareness Week 2024 – Canada: powered by Tourism – is fitting for Kingston. The sector locally is driven by a range of tourism experiences from visiting friends and family to motor coach tours, business meetings and sport events to film and music production – and tourism in Kingston happens year-round.  Tourism is a key driver of Kingston’s economy. Kingston has one of the largest hospitality and accommodation workforces in Canada providing almost 9% of Kingston’s workforce or 15,000 tourism-related jobs. Tourism generates income and creates easily accessible training opportunities and jobs as well as sales markets for services and local products. Tourism management oversees operations and strategies in the tourism industry including trave, accommodation and attractions. It's crucial for ensuring sustainable growth, enhancing tourist experience and contributing significantly to economic development.

The ministry of tourism and wildlife has established institutions with clear mandates to ensure the country is a competitive destination. Kenya Utalii College has been assigned the training mandate ,Tourism Fund is meant to collect levy for training ,marketing and development of the industry, Tourism Regulatory does the regulation of standards of hospitality and tourism facilities as well as training institutions ,Kenya Tourism Board has the sole mandate of marketing the country while Kenyatta International Convention Center drives conferencing agenda in the country. Additionally, Bomas of Kenya is tasked with promoting cultural tourism in the country. Each statutory body is supposed to stick to its specific mandate. Duplication of mandates will bring confusion and wastage of the scarce resources. There is a growing tendency by some institutions to operate outside their areas of responsibility The CS incharge of the crucial docket must ensure every institution performs its mandate

There's so much value in exploring the positive impacts of tourism First of all, tourism creates jobs - in fact, it's the largest employer in the world! It also brings in money from other countries, which can be used to fund infrastructure development and improve quality of life. It's also an important source of cultural exchange, which can help to promote understanding and tolerance between different groups of people. Another great thing about tourism is that it can help to preserve cultural heritage and traditions. Tourists are often interested in learning about local culture, and this can lead to a renewed appreciation for traditional customs and practices. In some cases, it can even lead to a revival of traditional arts and crafts. #Tourism

South Africa is a tourist destination with the tourist industry accounting for 2.34% of GDP in 2019 followed by a sharp drop in 2020 to 0.81% of GDP due to lack of travel caused by the COVID - 19 pandemic. The official marketing agency for the country, South African Tourism is responsible for maker ting South Africa to the world. According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, tourism contributed directly ZAR102 Billion to South African GDP in 2012 and supports 10.3 of jobs in the country. The official national makerting agency of the South African government, with the goal of promoting tourism in South Africa both locally and globally.

In the last couple of years, tourism has become an important sector that has had a great impact on the development of country economies. The main benefits of tourism are income creation and generation of jobs. For many places, tourism is the most important source of welfare. So it is convenient for countries to respond to this importance proportionally, by developing the necessary infrastructure and increasing their abilities to supply the needs of tourists. That’s where the importance of studying tourism lies as well. You have a high level of demand for experienced people, accompanied by a super-attractive field. Tourism and hospitality have become major global industries that provide numerous economic and social benefits. They can help correct trade imbalances, spread wealth between nations, support development, create jobs, foster cultural exchange, and promote education and peace.#hospitalitymanagement#swayam

TourismBurundi My opinion on how tourism will develop in the future I'm happy to give my opinion here because the last time there was a general meeting on tourism, I didn't have the chance to be invited. I know a lot about tourism because I learned about it in high school, I've traveled to many tourist sites in Burundi and abroad, I spent a month in Bali, one of the most visited tourist spots in the world. In my opinion, here are three choices that can help in the development of tourism in Burundi: 1.security 2.investment 3. Invite the local population to visit tourist sites. Explanation -Safety is the first important thing to consider before deciding to travel to a country. Then, one of the ways to know that the country is safe for travelers is to consult the information written there or to ask their embassies that the country is safe.On this, I have two questions: are the things that are written about safety in Burundi good for attracting tourists? do diplomats invite their citizens to come and visit us? - Tourism cannot develop without money. Tourism is impossible without a good infrastructure (good roads, internet, nice hotels, logistics, etc.). For example, I like the Mwishanga waterfall but the last time I visited this site I noticed a few challenges. The road wasn't in good condition, there was no internet and there was no bar in the tourist site. But maybe that's changed. - Inviting the local population to visit tourist sites is also important to enable local investors to pay the bills while waiting for foreigners. A month ago, I went to the Nonoka tourist site (hotel). The investors put a lot of money to attract tourists but because they have no customers, this place is deteriorating. The dust in some of the rooms shows that they haven't had guests for months, and the tiles are yellow. Government officials and others organizations can make decisions or facilitate to encourage Burundians to visit tourist sites. Let me stop here.
